News and Announcements

This past weekend EBB went to Fiskdale,MA to play in the Team Mass Mother’s Day Tournament in preparation for the Rumble in the Bronx next month. The day started off with the 12U team playing the New England Elite. After going back and forth with the Elite, EBB effort fell short losing 37-28. The second for EBB and the first for the 13U team (I decided to play up in this tournament)pitted us against Holyoke Basketball. This game like the first for the 12U went down to the wire with EBB falling short 45-39. The second for the 12U team started and finished like the first. This time they were playing against the Central Mass Swarm. Again, they battle as hard as they could, but fell short by the score of 56-52. The second game for the 13U team didn’t go as well, due too a slow start, EBB fell behind early and couldn’t recover despite a late push falling to the new England Elite 49-29. The final game of the day pitted EBB against Team Mass. The game started off slow for EBB, with Team Mass sharpshooters consistently hitting from the outside and when that wasn’t working they hurt with their inside game. When the dust finally settled EBB was on the short end 64-34. Despite, the losses(which I consider to be learning experiences)I am very proud of the young men from EBB. Continue to grow and learn from adversity!!!!

Instructions for N.Y. trip

Posted by Kenneth Thompson at May 9, 2012 11:42AM PDT ( 0 Comments )

I was giving the 2 sites that are teams will be playing at June 1-3 in New York. It is imperative that we reserve rooms close to Northern New Jersey so that we can be close to our sites (it is more cost effective also). The sites are the following: John Jay College and City Sport. For hotel reservations contact Ms. Holly Early at (216)548-2166.
