Education Before Basketball is having a fundraiser the next 3 weeks. We will be shooting free throws to raise money for tournaments and future activities for our program. We are seeking pledges from local businesses,companies and individuals. I am attaching a pledge to this announcement.
This is the last week for payments
Wednesday is the last day for payments. I am very disappointed in how this season has gone in regards to the commitment to practice, payments and the overall attitude of some of the participant’s in this program. I started this program with premise of growth at the educational and athletic level.I didn’t start this program with low and unrealistic expectations for those who chose to commit to this important experience. I also went into this with a open mind in regards to people and their struggles. With this being said, we are now down to our last 2 tournaments(our season started in March)and payments are not paid in full causing our tournament schedule to be shortened. This is not fair to our youth or the program.

There is a tournament in less then 2 weeks and there are outstanding balances that have not been paid. This is becoming very frustrating as I have tried to be fair and patient with payments. It is not fair to the program that some parents have fulfilled their obligations, while others are making the program suffer. We have already lost 1 tournament from our schedule and don’t want to lose another.I am working tirelessly in trying to raise money to cover some of the expenses, but I need your support in making this program a success.

Reminder: Balances due this week
The last installments are due for both teams this week. The last 2 tournaments of the season come to a total of $1,700.00 (for both teams) with $1,650.00 still due from parents. The 13U total due is $920.00 and the 12U total is $730.00. Due too me being flexible with parents, I feel the installment plan was and is being abused.
