Education Before Basketball would like its’ family to have a Safe and Happy Easter. Thank you for all of your support into the positive shaping of this program and the young men in it.

Attention all parents: If you have not given me a Birth Certificate or Report Card, I need both this week for all team members to participate in the State tournament in May.I have paid the fee for E.B.B. to participate and need to get this paperwork to the club responsible for the tournament headquarters by Friday.

E.B.B. played in the 14th Annual RI Breakout Tournament this weekend April 16-17 and put on a great performance!!!!!! They won their pool,by defeating Mass Elite 49-23, RI Breakers 50-25 and on Sunday SCBC 51-36. E.B.B. then played the South Shore Nets on Sunday in a hard fight Championship Game between Pool A Champs and Pool B Champs. E.B.B.fought hard, but in the end the South Shore Nets won the battle 67-57.Being the director of this 1st year program, I am very proud of the effort of everyone involved with the Education Before Basketball Program and what the program stands for.

E.B.B. was proud to have Susan Campbell from the Hartford Courant as one of the programs many important speakers we will have throughout the year. Susan spoke to our young men about the importance of her job and having a voice. Susan also encouraged the young men to work hard at whatever they decide to do in life.
