I need all parents who are attending next weekends tournament to call me at 860-888-9945 as soon as possible. I need a head count so I can reserve the rooms at the group of $103.00. If we book rooms seperate it is going to be $129.00. The hotel that is available is the Hampton Inn Suites in Warwick, R.I. 401-739-8888 is the number.We will be playing at R.I. College in Providence and not CCRI this time.

Education Before Basketball is proud of the following students and their accomplishments at East Hartford Middle School.Rafael Cruz(Center/Forward) was awarded the Citzenship Award and General Honors.Jaden Oliveras(Point Guard/Shooting Guard)was also acknowledged for General Honors. Congratulations to these young men for keeping Education Before Basketball!!!!!!!!

Education Before Basketball Final Schedule for 2011 AAU Season will be posted by the end of month, if not sooner.Education Before Basketball had a staff meeting on friday to clear up the issues regarding the Nationals, Junior Nationals or any other issues being put on the table. I have always left the lines of communication open for everyone involved in this program and I asked for the same in return. I am constantly working on finding camps and tournaments for this program to prepare our young men to be competitive student/athletes.

Education Before Basketball has been invited to 12th Annual Breaker Challenge June 4-5 in Warwick,RI. I spoke to the Director Dave Vitale and he was very pleased with the team last time we were in RI, so he invited us back. I working very hard to keep this program grounded,despite some of the setbacks we have faced.I would also like to thank the parents that have been helpful and supportive of what Education Before Basketball is trying to accomplish.

1st year program Education Before Basketball competed in their 1st D2 CT State AAU Boys 12U Championship Tournament and finished 4th in the state. EBB started the weekend by playing and defeating the CT Northstars 50-40 and then ended the day by losing to a talented and well coached Boys and Girls Club of New Haven 50-31. On Sunday EBB played and defeated the CT Gold 66-48 and then ended their day with a tough defeat by the hands of the New Haven Heat 58-38.Overall, EBB finished with a record of 2-2 not bad for a 1st year organization. GREAT JOB EBB FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!
