E.B.B.

Education Before Basketball program enjoyed its’ first guest speaker of the program. Our special guest was Kyle Anderson a father, community leader, mentor and advocate for youth. Kyle is the spark behind the Greater Hartford Male Youth Leadership Program a organization stressing the importance of young men in our community becoming positive leaders and role models.

Attention: All Parents of E.B.B. we are getting close to our travel to Boston on April 9,2011 and we are trying to get lodging situated. We have found a couple of options and need to act fast in regards to blocking rooms.

For the second week in a row E.B.B. manages to pull off another close call in tuneup games. This time they were playing the Gladiators of Glastonbury. E.B.B. managed to pull out the squeaker 36-34 after being down 2 with 3 minutes to go in the game.E.B.B. is a work in progress and still has some kinks to work out.

Education Before Basketball has found a replacement tournament for April 23-24. We have been invited to the R.I.Breakers 14th Anuual Tournament April 16-17 the week after the And 1 Boston Jamfest.

Education Before Basketball is proud to present its’ 1st Guest Speaker this Friday(6:00 p.m.) at the Central Baptist Church Gymnasium.This will be one of the many speakers will have from time to time to enlighten and encourage our young men in regards to career goals and the improtance of education. This is mandatory for all participant’s of the program.
