-This weekend was the start of something GREAT for the EBB 15U team. In the last couple of tournaments they have come close to winning their first Championship, but just couldn’t get over the hump. This weekend the young men of EBB came in with a mission of not being denied their first Championship of the season. In order to complete their mission they had to go through 5 teams in 2 days. Their first game against Berkshire Elite was a demonstration of the defensive aggressiveness of the 15U team, limiting the Elite to 28 points, while scoring 56 off of constant pressure leading to easy baskets. Their next game was a test of how really bad they wanted to complete their mission. It was a back and forth game against a tough and talented Mass Trailblazers squad that gave the young men from EBB all they could handle, but in the end EBB prevailed 68-64 and onto the Semis against the Western Mass Cagers. In the Semis EBB, despite being a little sluggish, pulled away for a 64-50 victory and onto the Championship Game against the CT Stars. EBB put a stamp on what their mission was early and often, pulling away for a 55-40 victory and bringing home their first and the programs fifth Championship of the season. EBB 15U a perfect example of: HARDWORK and DEDICATION paying off!!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend the EBB 14u team traveled to Mass with the mission of continuing its Championship streak. They had to go through 4 teams in order to complete their mission. First team on their list was Rebels Basketball. EBB came out of the gate strong establishing their game plan from the jump applying constant pressure leading to easy transition baskets. In the end the pressure was too much and EBB ran away with a 73-42 victory and on to the next team on their list the Mass Hoops Jaguars. EBB staying with their game plan again continued to apply constant defensive pressure and getting out in transition leading to easy baskets and a convincing 60-21 victory, now it was onto the Semis against H.A.T.E.In the Semis EBB started off sluggish due to the layover between games, but refocused got on track and pulled away winning by the score of 67-46 and onto the Championship Game against Berkshire Basketball. In the Championship Game EBB started fast and finished fast, leaving no doubt that their mission of winning another Championship would not be denied. EBB ran away with the game winning 63-34. Again another GREAT PERFORMANCE by the young men of EBB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
