Student/Athlete of the Marking Period
Education Before Basketball would like to proudly announce our 2 Student/Athletes of the Marking Period. This is based on those participant’s of E.B.B. that have turned in their required progress notes and report cards.The recipient’s for this award this marking period are:
1)Rafael Cruz-East Hartford Middle School
2)Adam Zak-Button Ball Lane School of Glastonbury.

April 8, 2011 Guest Speaker
E.B.B. will not hold practice Friday April 8, 2011 due too having a guest speaker coming to speak to the participant’s in regards to career choices,education and the importance of community. Attendance is Mandatory!!!!!!
E.B.B. played in its’ 1st scrimmage this past Wednesday against the Defenders of Middletown and did a very good job. This Wednesday they will be playing in their 2nd scrimmage against the Gladiators of Glastonbury.
E.B.B. Era Begins
The Education Before Basketball program will kickoff its’season April 9-10 at the And 1* Boston JamFest. We will then be participating in the Zero Gravity Circuit VII April 30- May 1. We have removed the tournament in N.H.(April 23-24) from our schedule due too family and religious reasons(Easter Sunday).We will play 1 more tuneup tournament before we enter into the AAU District State Championships in Hartford,CT. We will be adding 1 more player to this list once we get approval from AAU (Malcolm Moye).

The Payment Schedule for Education Before Basketball is the following:
1st Payment: is now due the week of March 15 (before the first tournament,uniforms and AAU cards are ordered).
2nd Payment: is due in the second week of April
3rd Payment: is due in the first week of May
Special Note: Uniform sizes and numbers need to also be giving at the time of the first payment.
P.S. If you have not taking your picture for the website the sooner I get it done the easier this transition will be.
